New Edition of the Rule - Pocket Size

With the feast of Saint Benedict drawing nigh, Libri Sancti Press is delighted to announce the release, at 11:00 CDT (UTC-5) on the 21st of March, of a new edition of the English translation of the monastic legislator’s Rule by Dom Justin McCann, O.S.B., a monk of Ampleforth Abbey and honorary abbot of Westminster. First published in 1937, this translation, at once elegant and accessible, has unfortunately fallen out of print for several decades.

Now meticulously re-typeset and graced with the blessing of the current abbot of Ampleforth, Robert Igo, O.S.B., this pocket-sized edition (4 by 6 in.) is ideal for both devotional reading and study, and includes the traditional divisions of the text for daily reading at the Chapter Office after Prime.
