With the holy feast of Saint Benedict among us, Libri Sancti Press is delighted to announce the release of a new Latin edition of the monastic legislator’s Regula by Dom Justin McCann, O.S.B., a monk of Ampleforth Abbey and honorary abbot of Westminster. First published in 1953 in a bilingual Latin-English format, McCann’s text is now available for the first time as a standalone Latin volume.

Now finely typeset and graced with the blessing of the current abbot of Ampleforth, Robert Igo, O.S.B., this pocket-sized edition (4 by 6 in.) is ideal for both choir use and private reading, and includes the traditional divisions of the text for daily reading at the Chapter Office after Prime.
